ROCKLAND, SCITUATE, MA, ISSUED JANUARY 23, 2019...The South Shore Chamber of Commerce announces that Susan Daileader, CFP®, CLTC, Vice President and Financial Consultant with Rockland Trust Bank’s Investment Management Group has been appointed to a three-year term on the Chamber’s Board of Directors. In this capacity, she will work with South Shore Chamber President and CEO Peter Forman, Board of Directors Chairman James Dunphy and fellow board members to help oversee the general strategy and direction for the Chamber. As a VP and Financial Consultant with Rockland Trust’s Investment Management Group, Daileader is responsible for business development throughout Plymouth County. A graduate of the University of Vermont, her professional designations include Certified Financial Planner™ and Certification in Long-Term Care. She also holds her series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Daileader is a founding board member of empowerHer Inc., a non-profit that provides mentoring and other services to girls who have lost their mother at a young age. In addition to the South Shore Chamber Board of Directors, she serves on the Executive Committee and is the Immediate Past President for the Norfolk/Plymouth County Estate Planning Council. Daileader is also a member of the Development Committee for the Duxbury Beach Reservation. A resident of Scituate, Massachusetts for the past 25 years, Daileader and her husband are the parents of two adult sons. “Being involved with the South Shore Chamber is an exciting way to connect with the community and help drive economic development locally,” said Daileader. “I look forward to reacquainting myself with local business and industry leaders here on the South Shore.” Peter Forman, CEO of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, said, “Susan has a deep understanding of the Chamber and small businesses. She has served in countless volunteer positions with the Chamber for many years. As a Director she will be instrumental in keeping us focused on helping our members and growing the region.”
