Join us Thursday, February 2, for a 7:44 Breakfast at the Marriott in Quincy with the Commonwealth’s top transportation official, Sec. Richard A. Davey of the Mass. Dept. of Transportation. His message will be of particular interest to the South Shore as we face the challenge of new growth and transportation needs.
Some of the transportation issues of particular importance to the South Shore are:
- The MBTA’s proposal to eliminate commuter ferries serving Hingham, Quincy, Hull and Boston, together with cutbacks in bus and commuter rail service.
- Boston’s plan to prohibit fuel trucks from passing through the city – a plan that could cost South Shore residents and businesses up to $50 million per year.
- Critical construction projects, including the SouthField parkway, Route 139 in Marshfield, and replacement of the Fore River bridge.
Join us for this important discussion Thursday morning at the Boston Marriott Quincy. Make your reservations HERE.
