Founded in 1922, the United Way of Greater Plymouth County is a volunteer-led community convenor focused on identifying and addressing the most urgent needs in our local communities. Serving 22 cities and towns across Greater Plymouth County, we bring people together including residents, businesses, and nonprofits to make a meaningful difference. We raise resources from local businesses and individuals and mobilize volunteers to support community priorities. These resources are then invested in strong, local nonprofit partnerships that are selected through a voluteer led process. Our mission is to partner with initiatives that deliver measurable results and create lasting change, improving the lives of our neighbors throughout the South Shore.
